About Kit Fox Studio

Kit Fox Studio is the creative home of Albuquerque artist Jill Erickson.

Working across painting, printmaking, jewelry, and small handmade objects, Jill follows her curiosity wherever it leads. Her work draws from the natural world, symbolism, storytelling, and the strange little connections that emerge between materials and ideas.

With a background in anthropology and a lifelong interest in art, she approaches making as a form of exploration. Some pieces begin with a carefully considered image; others grow from an experiment, an unexpected material, or a happy accident.

Her artwork has been represented by Mariposa Gallery in Albuquerque's Nob Hill for more than twenty years. You can also find her work at various markets throughout Albuquerque.
